My name is Art Reid. My wife Melody and I have called NFBC our home church for the past 26 years. It’s been exciting to witness God grow his church here in Newcastle. I’ve been privileged to play an active role in our church family as a deacon, Financial overseer, Loaves & Fishes ministry overseer and Boys Brigade leader. Our three children, Andrew, Matthew and Rebecca have grown up under God’s teaching here and God has blessed us with 4 precious grand kids (so far). Although I’ve always been a sports enthusiast, particularly hockey and baseball, as we work toward retirement, my wife and I have picked up the RV’ing bug and enjoy relaxing days at provincial parks with the family.
