NFBC Men’s Ministries

Men’s ministries are an extremely important part of the work here at Newcastle Fellowship Baptist Church. We understand that God has called men to lead His Church, and to set the examples in our families of what it means to be a godly man, and to follow our precious Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. In order to reach our goal, we gather together on a regular basis to build each other up in our most holy faith. Our desire is to be holy, even as our God is holy. We meet together for breakfasts, as well as for barbecues, where time is spent around the teaching and preaching of the Word of God through various speakers, and we also spend time in fellowship and worship, giving thanks to God for all the wonderful things He has done for us. Our aim is to live out the words that are found in Proverbs 27:17, where we read: ‘As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.’ We’d love to have you come and join us. To God be all the glory, and the praise.

“Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect,

but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.

Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it.

But one thing I do:

Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,

I press on toward the goal to win the prize

for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”
