The Great Comission
“Make Disciples of all Nations”

In Matthew 28:19-20, we read: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
This passage serves as the foundation for our Mission Outreach Statement: ‘The ministry of Newcastle Fellowship Baptist Church is to seek to win people to Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit, and equip them to be more faithful disciples of our Lord and Saviour.’
Missions outreach is this local Church sharing with the lost the pure message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, through the faithful preaching and teaching of the Word of God by men who are called, trained, approved, sent, supported, supervised and held accountable to the local Church that sent them. We believe that it’s the Church’s duty to be co-labourers with God in this great work of evangelism, and it is our desire to be faithful to the Lord in this area of His ministry until He comes.
