Coping with Grief Support Program

The Coping with Grief Support Group Program was formed out of a desire to reach out to our community, at large, and provide a much-needed interdenominational grief support program. This program is designed to assist adults in working through their grief and to move forward along the path of healing.

The Program provides group support, education, encouragement, understanding and compassion to adults who have experienced the loss of a loved one through death.

The loss of a loved one can be overwhelming. This is the beginning of a journey that is often frightening, painful, and lonely. The tears that are shed are only the beginning of the healing process. In order to heal individuals must move forward and become active participants in the grief process.

If you have lost a loved one and are grieving please do not try to face your grief alone. The trained and “Certified” facilitators of the Support Group have experienced their own grief journey and understand, firsthand, the need for a safe place to share and to express feelings and tears.
